Located relatively close to Barcelona,
the El Prat Airport is among the most well-equipped and
well-maintained airports that we have been to.
The staff are well trained and are good
English-speakers.
Shopping facilities are abundant and
toilets are relatively clean, compared to those at most European
airports.
Terminal transfer is very easy. The
terminals are all located on the same line, near each other. You can
walk yourself easily from one terminal to another.
Transfer to the city is very easy and
relatively cheap (under 3 Euros per bus ticket) and the buses are on
time too.

7 km away from the heart of Lisbon and
it is an important gateway between Europe and Latin America
(especially Brazil and Venezuela).
The airport is actually built inside the
city, which is quite uncommon, not to mention risky.
Staff could improve their hospitality,
kindness.
There were cases when we weren't able to
obtain information from ladies who were actually working at the
informations desk, because the 3-4 employees were chatting to each
other with their back towards clients, ignoring everything around.
Transfer from Terminal 1 to Terminal 2
is not clear/obvious to the newcomer.
The 2 terminals are far away form each
other and only by bus can you reach from one to the other.
Buses used in the airport for passenger
transfer to- and from airplanes and terminals are not running
frequently and they are often late. Traffic jams also occur, which
might seem funny, but could lead to missing your airplane.
Transferring to the city is quite
difficult, also because there is little information displayed and
it's presented confusingly.
The information desks usually have long
lines of tourists in front of them and it takes a lot of time to
find out about transfers.
Buses will bring you to the city center,
but they aren't running frequently and are often late.

This airport is very far from Athens,
located behind a mountain range. Drive time takes 1-2 hours, but
buses will take you there as well.
Clients aren't served fast and the
processes of entering and exiting all seem to be a bit disorganized.
Not enough information is provided
regarding the flights and some parts of the airport are hard to
reach. They seem to be somehow hidden from most travelers.
The toilets are dirty.
