TAP Portugal has a fleet of modern
aircraft and has well-trained personnel.
On board services are adequate, but not
impressive. The food is good, but the quantity they will give you
even on a short flight cannot even be compared to a snack.
Online booking is very difficult.
The TAP website doesn't allow booking
from any country and doesn't display prices correctly. The site
displays available seats at lower prices, but they cannot be booked
online for various reasons (country not supported etc.) and you will
most probably have to get to a TAP Portugal office where you will be
able to ask and pay for the ticket. This is what we did and it cost
triple of the price displayed on the website.

Seat comfort on a BAE Avro RJ100 is
relatively good for economy class.
Staff are rude and serving takes a lot
of time.
They don't hesitate to raise their
voices when attracting the attention of clients.
One can hardly see a smile on the faces
of stewardesses and even though there is plenty of them, they are
unable to serve the passengers fast enough. One has to wait much too
long when meal is served.
Meals are good, tasty. Their size is
average.
Online booking is easy through the
website, which allows you e-ticket booking.
