The biggest city is the boasting modern metropolis of Seattle, but the capital is the much smaller Olympia.

It's a popular adventure travel and ocean sailing destination. Hills and mountains are located especially in the west and northwest, rivers are numerous and in the northwest the confluence of multiple rivers creates a wonderful delta with dense forests and many islands.
