 The most impressive and also the biggest Maya site in Mexico. It is also the most visited one and if you ever travel to Mexico, you mustn't miss seeing it.
This enormous archaeological sites is located very close to the capital,
Ciudad de México. The pyramids are in good condition and before 500 AD,
this must have been a boasting big city with about 100.000 people living
in it. It was one of the largest cities in the World at that time. Teotihuacán is about 40 km from Ciudad de México, this meaning that it can be easily reached by road. The best way is to go on an organized tour or simply take a bus that goes there. |
