Sevilla was part of Muslim Andalusia for several centuries before the Spaniards regained control over the Iberian Peninsula and conquered the city. English and French call is "Seville", while the original name is Sevilla. Interestingly this city was first founded by the Romans, then a series of other civilizations have succeeded each other. Ancient attractions are almost everywhere and are very well preserved. Sevilla also has modern architectural creations which you will have to discover when there.
