 This big city is less known to travelers, though it's a boasting rich metropolis with many interesting attractions and intense Brazilian beach life. There are numerous skyscrapers that enrich the skyline, such as those in the Boa Viagem neighborhood and there are old baroque churches, colourful small house quarters. Recife has Brazil's best rated beach at Porto de Galinas, which is 60 km south of the city. When in this city, you will notice it's many types of buildings and districts. It's a place where you cannot possibly feel bored. It's good though to travel in group in order to share the experience. For photographers too, this is a paradise.
The skyline, the streets, the bridges and the famous square of Marco Zero,
the numerous churches, the islands and the many coloured houses
(particularly on the Rua do Sol) close to the water all constitute great
targets for the cameraman. |
