Nice/Nizza (France) Travel Directory

Nice/Nizza (France) Travel Directory

Nice is the French name and Nizza the Italian one. In certain countries rather the Italian, but in most countries the French name is used.

This is a rich city located on the Côte d'Azur, very close to Monte Carlo. Therefore people who go to Nice also take a trip to Monte Carlo (the state of Monaco) or vice-versa...

The sea here at Nice is clear blue, the sand also has a light colour and there are palm trees and rich homes everywhere.

A beautiful luxury travel destination where hotels are usually expensive and people don't speak English at all. Perhaps you should get yourself a French conversational book in order to manage to get around.

Except visiting the French attractions, which are very nice, you might be surprised to find a large Russian Orthodox Cathedral there... It is from 1912 and is the largest of its kind outside of Russia.
