The relatively small state of New York has tremendous economic power in the World. Of course, we all know that the city of New York or, the "Big Apple" as some might nickname it, is the most powerful city in the Americas and is among the World's richest global cities. But, there is more to the state than just New York city!

With a population of almost 20 million people, the State of New York is so powerful economically, that it could compete with any European state. Touristically, New York is also in the first line. Many people from all corners of the World come to the state either for business or leisure purposes or simply to swap airlines at one of the major hubs: La Guardia or JFK airports.

The city of New York attracts, of course, most of the visitors arriving to this multi-ethnic state, where except the Americans of Irish, English, Scottish origin, African Americans and Native Americans, people with other origins can also be found, especially: Latinos, Italians, Poles, Hungarians, Chinese, Jews, Russians.
