Hamburg has a population of about 3,5 million and is one of Germany's biggest cities. Its metropolitan area has close to 5 million inhabitants, but despite this, the city itself has 1,8 million.

Hamburg is the 2nd largest port city in Europe (Holland's Rotterdam is the 1st) and the 9th largest in the World. It has 64 km of canals and an amazing of more than 2.500 bridges!

It is one of Germany's most visited cities, yet it is cold and rain is frequent.
