 Colombia is the northernmost South American country with coasts on the Pacific and on the Caribbean as well. There are many big cities, dense jungles, as part of the Amazon is located in the country. Mountainous areas are in the west, where the northern Andes lie. Interestingly there even is a small desert called "La Guajira". The World's 3rd largest Spanish-speaking country has a population of about 45 million and it is one of the most rarely visited countries on the continent, but one with beautiful attractions. If you happen to travel to Colombia, then you will require reliable resources before the trip in order to plan it well.
