You'll find companies offering caving trips mostly in mountainous areas...

Speleology is a scientific activity and involves the scientific study of caves, while the word "caving" is rather a leisure activity or a sport. The latter one can simply mean walking through visit able caves or even rappelling or swimming in less accessible, more dangerous caves.

There is a wide variety of caves. Some of them are actually recommended for people with poor health. The best examples for caves used for therapeutic purposes are the sulphurous caves and the salty caves.
