 The capital of Catalonia, a major city with a metropolitan population estimated to be somewhere between 3 and 5 million. It is Spain's largest city and one of Europe's most famous cultural centers. Lots of airplane, bus, train and ship connections are to this city, it is easy to get there, but you will be sad when you leave. Barcelona is a fantastic city with lots and lots of cultural attractions, both old and modern buildings from the ancient gothic Barcelona Cathedral to Antonio Gaudí's art nouveau creations and modern skyscrapers. 10 days are not enough for visiting Barcelona! In order to see the attractions and possibly the events, you will have to stay here for at least 2 weeks and spend 8-10 hours every day in museums, art galleries, churches, walking on the streets and more and more... Once you are in Barcelona with a list of "to see and to do"... you will find you just can't get enough of the city!
