Argentina Travel Directory

Argentina Travel Directory

Famous for its wines, the Argentine tango, boasting big capital Buenos Aires, the pampas, Patagonia and the Tierra del Fuego. This country is less hot, but rather cold, arid with its specific attractiveness and beauty. Different from the landscapes you will see in northern South America, Argentina is mostly covered by deserts and semi-deserts, agricultural fields, some forests, but also mountainous regions (especially in the west) and let's not forget the long long coast. Little rainforest areas can also be found in the north.

Argentina offers much and requires much attention as well. One needs to spend a least several weeks in this country to get a good taste of how it really is there. You can find flights to Buenos Aires from many airports in the World quite easily, but travelling within the country will take quite an effort, but worth seeing the landscapes.

The 8th biggest country in the World is a popular adventure travel destination. In fact, this is one of the main category of tourism popular in Argentina. White river rafting, mountain hiking, climbing, mountain biking, kayaking and canoeing, 4x4 trips, but even horse riding, glacier hiking and other activities are on the list of things you can do.
